Juventus are in a good position to make history at the Camp Nou as they have already beaten AC Milan on aggregate three times in the competition so far, but their biggest game yet has come on the road against a side who have won all four meetings between the two sides.

Juve started well against Milan and were not threatened in the first half, but Milan responded well with goals from Leonardo Bonucci, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Daniele De Rossi, who all started with the ball in the net.

The goals came from Bonucci after just six minutes and he scored a lovely one-handed finish from 20 yards after Milan had taken a penalty.

The second goal came from the right-back, who had an effort at goal blocked by Bonucci but the goalkeeper was not quite there to stop the free kick.

Milan had a lot of chances in the second half, including from the penalty spot, but were unable to get an equaliser.

It was a difficult night for the Bianconeri and there was plenty of frustration as the team struggled to create any clear-cut chances and only one clear-headed moment came in the last minute.

Milan were more than happy to keep the ball and didn’t need any extra pressure on the game, but it was difficult for the Nerazzurri to get into their shape.

Juventus did have a couple of good chances on the counter-attack, but there was nothing really dangerous in those situations and they could have been much more aggressive in the final third.

For the Biancocelesti, it was their best performance of the campaign and their best result of the season so far.
